Jill's Blog - My Favorite Stuff and what's happenin' now
I love a trip to NAUMKEAG, www.thetrustees.org, a historical mansion in Stockbridge which offers a fabulous audio garden tour.
Planetarium shows will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Old Hopkins Observatory at Williams College in June, July and August at 8 PM. For reservations call 413-597-2188. It's awsome!!! and FREE
Spring has arrived in the Berkshires and it is time to get outside in that fresh mountain air. There is a multitude of mountain trails in my backyard with varying terrain, for all levels. Hiked the Hopper yesterday, beautiful!
Mass MoCA 's current exhibit by Xu Bing features his Phoenix Project, made up of 30' suspended phoenix bird sculptures made of scrap metal. Very amazing!!
Mount Greylock is open!!! Enjoy a scenic mountain drive to the highest point in Massachusetts, a 360 degree view of four states. Check out www.bascomlodge.net for information on festivals and activities. Treat yourself to a great dinner with the most amazing sunset as your backdrop, a most memorable experience.
Call me directly for the best rates, I will beat all the travel booking sites.
Hope to see you soon,
Jill
